When I post about Canning or Food preservation, I get email. More email than on any other subject. Canning and Food Preservation seem to be a lost ‘art’….and folks want to revive it!
As I kick off our ‘season’ (it always seems like canning and food preservation “season” has begun with the canning of the first batch of Strawberry jam--even though I can and put food up year round!) so I thought I’d share as I journey along this season, in all of our Canning and Food Preservation efforts. Join me as I share canning; some freezing & dehydrating too-with the prices of food SKYROCKETING, we need to get creative in the kitchen and put up what we can, while it is in season!
So get your canning equipment ready (BRAND NEW to canning and food storage? No worries–we’ll go over the basics!), your shelf space cleared off, tidy up and clean out the freezer and the pantry as we put up all we are blessed with, to in turn bless our families!
